Funny thing happened on the way....

I was just going to start my blog a while back, thinking I'd write about the state of the world and how greed was causing so much trouble, and I'd been saying I thought that the shit was surely going to hit the fan one day soon, and most agreed that all the greedy so and sos would get theirs just wait and see. Well, not long as it turned out, but who do they blame ? The people holding the mortgages not the ones raking off all the fantastic profits. I have one question I'd like to ask the big corporations after the downsizing frenzy of the past 10 years or so which produced the lean and mean world we now live in. If you were truly interested in maximizing your profits, why did you lay off or fire all your customers on mass like you did ? Did you think that would help?
